USDOT Substance Abuse Professional [SAP] Evaluations

competent and efficient consultation for both employee and employer

What you're required to do -- there are three steps...here they are:

1. REMOTE or IN PERSON INITIAL EVALUATION

You will meet with us for a clinical interview.

2. SAPs GUIDANCE

This is where you complete the recommended education and/or treatment from your SAP per DOT guideline.
3. REMOTE or IN PERSON FOLLOW-UP EVALUATION
We meet again after you've finished step two and present instructions for moving forward in your safety-sensitive position.
We're qualified by the DOT as Substance Abuse Professionals (SAPs) and serve the states of Florida, Tennessee, and Virginia.  We assess those who have violated a drug and alcohol program regulation.  Additionally, we make recommendations concerning education, treatment, and other key components.

We do not advocate for the employer nor the employee.  Our function is to remain neutral and protect the public interest by professionally evaluating you [the employee] and offering appropriate recommendations.

As stated in the three steps above...our only role is to determine your eligibility for return-to-duty and provide documentation to you or your Designated Employer Representative (DER) upon program completion.
